About Dumont Creamery & Cafe

The Dumont Story In the heart of India, a visionary father dreamed of crafting the most delightful ice creams. This vision wasn’t his alone, it was a shared dream with his two sons, Vivek Inampudi and Bhaskar Inampudi. With their father’s idea as the spark, upon their return from the USA, the sons took the reins, shaping and expanding their father’s legacy. From a modest ice cream unit, Vivek and Bhaskar Inampudi played a transformative role in elevating their father’s enterprise into Dumont, now one of India’s foremost ice cream manufacturers, boasting an array of over 250 unique flavors. Their state-of-the-art facility churns out 2000 liters of fresh ice cream every hour, and their workforce, notably including a strong representation of w

One of the best ice cream shops! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and smooth—not icy at all. I also love that it's not overly sweet, so you can really enjoy the flavors. Highly recommend!

One of those ice cream shops where you can’t decide which flavor to get because they’re ALL good!! We got the kheer which is my favorite, the Dubai chocolate, and got a pint to go as well, very happy :)

Here’s a clear, polished version of your review: Worst ice cream place I’ve ever been to. I would not recommend going here. The prices are too high, and the quality is not maintained at all. Braum’s is far better, and I would definitely prefer going there instead. They charged me $5 for a small scoop, and the cup was poorly made. After just two spoons, the bottom part broke, and the ice cream started dripping all over my clothes. If you are charging $5 for a small scoop, at least maintain some basic quality. Overall, the price is not justified at all by the quality or quantity they provide.

I’d give Dumont Creamery & Cafe 3 stars. The place looks nice, but the experience wasn’t great. The ice cream wasn’t that good, and the chocolate cake was terrible—definitely not worth the price. What really made the visit uncomfortable was that we came in about 30 minutes before closing, and the worker kept reminding us every couple of minutes that they were about to close. It got pretty annoying and made it hard to enjoy the visit. Overall, it was just an average experience that could’ve been handled a lot better.

Visited again following a previous positive experience. The store remains in a convenient location, is well-maintained, and offers a good selection of flavors. On this visit, I decided to purchase a pint of ice cream to take home. Upon approaching the freezer, the staff informed me that prepared pints were unavailable and offered to fill a container based on my selection. I confirmed I wanted to purchase a pint, and the associate proceeded to fill the tub using scoops. It was unusual to see ice cream scooped into a pint container, as scooping can introduce air gaps, impacting the texture and potentially causing the ice cream to crystallize more quickly after storage. When I reviewed the receipt, I noticed I was charged for 6 scoops rather than a measured pint. The staff did not clarify this difference during the transaction. Later, upon checking the menu, it became evident the store refers to a pint-sized container as "6 scoops," which differs from the industry standard of a volume-based pint (with a pint typically equaling 16 ounces or 2 cups). This approach may cause confusion, as the container is labeled and discussed as a "pint," but it is billed and filled based on scoops ra
